Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking Resort Housekeepers in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin, responsible for maintaining clean facilities and ensuring a sanitary environment. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking areas, following safety protocols, and ensuring all equipment is functional.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, experience in janitorial work, and a valid driver's license. Benefits include paid sick leave, team member discounts, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• 6 months of previous experience cleaning homes or large facilities preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work.
• Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and stock areas with products as needed.
• Ensure all appliances are clean and defrost freezer as needed.
• Sanitize bathrooms and ensure safety with rubber mats.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazardous conditions.
• Maintain overall appearance of the resort and facilities.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Ensure all windows and screens are clean and functioning.
• Maintain washers and dryers by wiping surfaces and removing lint.
• Empties trash containers as needed.
• Clean and change vents and filters as required.

Overview

Resort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.

Job Duties

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed. Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safety (Essential)
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager (Essential)
• Ensures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderly
• Ensures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed
• Ensures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properly
• Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.
• Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed
• Ensures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed
• Other duties as assigned
