Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. is hiring Housekeepers in New York to maintain clean, well-presented resort units. You will follow the company mission and uphold high standards of cleanliness and timeliness, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Training begins immediately, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package. Starting pay is up to $17 per hour, with paid training and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to read, write and do basic math.
• Personal timeliness be prompt with all assignments.
• A passion for cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and change behavior.
• Work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Strip units of soiled linens.
• Remove trash from units.
• Clean units including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
• Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
• Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report missing inventory and supplies to Supervisor.
• Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
• Attend all training sessions and perform practical application of training.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in solving guest complaints promptly.
• Maintain a high sense of urgency so units are turned on time.
