Sun Outdoors is seeking a resort housekeeper in Tampa, FL to maintain clean, sanitary facilities and rental properties. You will perform cleaning duties across rooms and common areas, stock supplies, and ensure safety standards. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred cleaning experience and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 6 months cleaning experience (Preferred).
• General janitorial knowledge.
• Knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed.
• Ensures tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly (Essential).
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to remove food particles, mold and mildew.
• Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential).
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring good lighting and safety.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or defective equipment.
• Maintains overall cleanliness of the resort, buildings and facilities.
• Empties trash containers and maintains clean offices and buildings.
• Cleans vents and filters as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Tampa East Dover, FL, US Regular Full Time $16 per hourOverview Resort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.

Job Duties

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed.
• Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew.
• Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safety (Essential)
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions.
• Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager (Essential)
• Ensures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderly
• Ensures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed
• Ensures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properly
• Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.
• Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat.
• Empties trash containers as needed
• Ensures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months in previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities (Preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
• Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
• Abilities to lift at least 25 pounds
• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
• Must have a valid driver's license
