DEPARTMENT: Resort Services (seasonal)

REPORTS TO: Network Administrator

SUMMARY:

Complete daily assigned Resort Grounds Maintenance II tasks in a timely manner. Act as security on evening and overnight shifts by performing random checks while doing other duties. . Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication, and interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous resort/hotel experience preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Sidewalk care and edging
  • Exterior building care. (Windows, doorways, siding, screen porches, hallways, etc.)
  • Exterior furniture care and maintenance. i.e. (picnic tables/grills)
  • Firewood Management
  • Firepit Management
  • Racket courts – Make sure that all are clean of debris and supplies are accounted for.
  • Tour Resort grounds for garbage on the ground
  • Evening shifts maintain security of the resort, international staff areas and employee staffing areas.
  • Assist and maintain in the cleanliness in all aspects of the resort.
  • Assists with guests needs when requested.
  • Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.
  • J1 Shuttles and Guest Shuttles as needed
  • Help with TV, Door lock and other electronic needs as needed
  • Help Pool operators as needed
  • Help All Resort Services positions as needed
  • Any and all other duties

Requirements


EXPECTATIONS: The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these functions). Every employee must exhibit stellar guest service and a regular attendance record. If problems arise, will contact a member of management. Follow all rules and policies as set forth in the employee handbook. Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Driver’s license required
  • Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; climb up and down stairs; reach with arms and hands; move/lift objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
  • This is an outdoor position. Must be comfortable working in all environmental conditions, including but not limited to, rain, extreme heat or extreme cold.
  • The scheduled end of shift is tentative and may require you to leave early or stay late.
