Job summary

Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, MN is seeking a dependable Grounds Worker to maintain resort grounds, operate equipment, water plants, collect waste, deliver firewood, and keep outdoor areas guest-ready.

You'll use ALICE ticketing for service requests, drive resort vehicles, and coordinate with the safety and security team. Weekend and holiday availability is required. This hands-on role offers growth within Cote Hospitality and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and in varied outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina for long outdoor shifts (6–7 hours) and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic reading of chemical labels and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate resort machinery safely and follow tool-specific safety precautions.
• Water flowers and maintain planting beds across the property.
• Collect garbage and recyclables, keeping guest areas clean.
• Deliver firewood to cabins and common areas promptly and cheerfully.
• Mow lawns and maintain turf as part of regular landscaping.
• Support ongoing landscaping upkeep like trimming and edging.
• Respond to ALICE tickets and update status as tasks are completed.
• Drive resort vehicles to transport supplies and materials.
• Communicate supply needs to supervision and assist with ordering.
• Maintain equipment used in daily grounds operations.
