Job summary

Boyne Resorts at Sunday River is hiring food and beverage servers to deliver top-notch guest service in a fast-paced mountain resort setting. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell beverages and meals, and process payments while adhering to state and local guidelines and Boyne standards.

The role is front-of-house, guest-facing, with shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with ski passes and resort discounts as part

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Ideal candidate will have T.I.P.S. training and relevant experience.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily set-up, stocking, tear-down, and over-all sanitization of the service areas and FOH in the restaurant.
• Keep floors, chairs and tables clean in each section.
• Pre-bussing tables, re-set tables.
• Open and close shift duties, cash outs, and side work as assigned by MOD, FOH supervisor or Lead Server.
• Communicate with the Manager regarding any guest concerns or complaints.
• Answer guest questions regarding menu, upselling, ingredients, and offer suggestions.
• Promote liquor service and knowledge of specialty cocktails for upselling.
• Inform guests of menu choices at other mountain restaurants and promote area activities.
• Operate FOH within Boyne Brand Standard Audit guidelines.
• Be ready to help outside outlet during peak periods.
