Job summary

Encanterra® Country Club in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Server to deliver food and beverages with prompt, friendly service in the restaurant, bar and patio. The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 months of server experience, a valid Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification, and the ability to handle cash and interact with guests across a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months’ related server experience preferred.
• Must meet the state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to understand and implement dining standards.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; must handle discounts.
• Ability to contribute to a productive and friendly work environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and speak clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere with knowledge of the resort and menu.
• Write orders; relay to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve and clear items following service etiquette.
• Engage with guests to ensure needs are met and service is excellent.
• Work as a team under supervision of Lead Server/Manager.
• Report safety concerns or guest issues to a supervisor.
• Check IDs to confirm legal drinking age.
• Handle cash and card transactions and give correct change.
• Other duties as assigned.
