Job summary

Trilogy Valor in Kuna seeks a Fitness Instructor to design classes for all levels, train members on equipment, and support a lifelong health plan. The role reports to the Spa & Fitness Director and emphasizes safety, customer service, and enthusiasm.

Candidates should have prior class instruction experience, First Aid/CPR certification, and the ability to lead sessions while maintaining professional relationships with members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year previous experience and class instruction experience preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification, and other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
• Group Certification and and experience with 55+ audience preferred.
• Computer literate and able to demonstrate equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Model and maintain BlueStar standards for members and guests.
• Monitor facility for safe member and/or guest use.
• Create and facilitate safe and engaging classes for all fitness levels.
• Advise members on class selection to fit goals and limitations.
• Maintain professional instructor-client relationships.
• Report incidents and coordinate with Spa & Fitness Director.
• Promote programs and activities to inspire members’ personal and social goals.
• Know spa services and suggest treatments to complement fitness routines.
• Adhere to schedule; clean and disinfect equipment after use.
• Assist with moving equipment and setting up for events.
