Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled repairs in resort and condominium rooms, ensuring safety and guest comfort. You will join a leadership-driven team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of upkeep.

Position starts as early as September. Pay ranges from $17 to $35 per hour, with benefits for full-time associates and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• One year experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, and appliance repair required.
• Trade School and/or College course work in related fields are helpful.
• Previous hospitality or related experience helpful.
• Ability to be self-motivated, administrative and proactive preventative maintenance skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain and repair resort and condominium rooms, including electrical, plumbing, furniture, drywall, painting, pools, and electronic systems.
• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, safety and training programs of Kalahari Resorts.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
