Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Orlando is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of the resort. You will manage a diverse team, coordinate preventive maintenance, and oversee vendor partnerships to uphold top-tier guest experiences.

This hands-on leadership role requires balancing long-term planning with immediate execution in a fast-paced hospitality setting, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and driving cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive facilities management experience within a resort, hotel, hospitality, or multi-building environment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Experience leading maintenance teams, contractors, and facility improvement projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all resort maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance programs across buildings, pools, grounds, infrastructure, and amenities.
• Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and reliably, including MEP and life-safety.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling, repair projects, renovations, and asset preservation.
• Manage emergency maintenance response and facility readiness.
• Direct relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring scope, standards, and contracts are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support operational planning and event execution.
