Job summary

Smugglers’ Notch Resort is seeking an experienced electrician to maintain and optimize electrical systems across the resort, including high/low voltage, fire alarm systems, and motors in wastewater, aquatics, and ski facilities.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, troubleshooting, reading schematics, and performing preventative maintenance with infrared thermography and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming and control systems.
• Experience with fire alarm systems and high voltage installations.
• Knowledge of motors, pumps, and wastewater treatment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair high and low voltage electrical services.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs for control systems.
• Read schematics and blueprints; understand ohms law and milliamps.
• Maintain electrical components for motors, pumps, and equipment in facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Utilize infrared thermography and electrical inspection tools; operate Megger and oscilloscopes.
