Job summary

Powderhorn Mountain Resort is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean, sanitary facilities across our mountain properties. You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, respond to spills, and support guest and employee spaces to uphold resort standards.

This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts in a dynamic ski resort environment.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as operational needs require.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobbies, hallways, offices, break rooms, employee areas, dining areas, and other assigned facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, and maintain floors, walls, windows, fixtures, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Restock restroom supplies, paper products, soap, and other custodial materials as needed.
• Monitor assigned facilities for cleanliness and respond promptly to spills, messes, and other immediate cleaning needs.
