The Tides Inn, Irvington, VA, part of Tanzerra Resorts, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the resort's accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and cashiering functions. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and cross-department collaboration across the resort.

Ideal candidates will have GAAP knowledge, AP/payroll experience, and strong Excel skills, with hospitality exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, accounts payable, payroll support, or related financial operations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and payroll regulations.
• Experience handling cash and reconciling discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and GAAP-compliant classifications.
• Support payroll processes and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Perform cashiering and cash-handling duties.
• Assist with daily revenue reconciliation and financial reporting.
