    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Resolution Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our growing firm. This role involves resolving and negotiating cases independently, assessing case values, and securing settlements for clients. Candidates should have a strong background in workers’ compensation law and a passion for advocacy.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload efficiently.
    • Communicate effectively with all parties involved.
    • Review and evaluate case files to determine legal strategy.
    • Assess case value independently, including reviewing QME reports and conducting depositions if necessary.
    • Calculate demands such as Total Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, Future Medical, etc.
    • Handle case negotiations and settlements.
    • Potential travel to trial locations as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • 7+ years of legal Workers’ Compensation experience.
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed settlement metrics.
    • Strong knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation regulations.
    • Expertise in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze legal documents digitally.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams).
