An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the blending area. This role involves monitoring equipment, coordinating material needs, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Housekeeping: Keep blender area dust-mopped; work areas must stay clean and safe around equipment. Areas should be free of oil spills and contaminants.
Vacuum material off machines after purge; clean oil pans, filters, and magnets on blending system and dryers.
Clean assigned lines for weekly housekeeping inspection.
Review daily schedule, verify material usage against BOM specifications for colors, resin, additives, and percentages.
Record and sign activity logs for material usage and online start-up/shutdown sheets.
Monitor blending system for consistent use of regrind and color; check hopper windows to prevent material shortages.
Coordinate with warehouse for material needs based on production schedule.
Set up blending system for color, regrind, and resin; ensure materials are ready at line for startups.
Understand LR systems and adhere to system manuals for operation and troubleshooting.
Verify each Gaylord or barrel of color/regrind is covered and tagged.
Weigh, tag, and stage End of Run materials; notify supervisor if contamination is detected.
Weigh and tag full gaylords of regrind and chunks, place in staging area.
Perform changeovers following line clearance procedures; label barrels properly; clean and vacuum equipment.
Disassemble and stack emptied gaylords; recycle cardboard in the compactor.
Report equipment repairs via maintenance work order.
