Job summary

Loyal Source in Virginia Beach seeks a Program Coordinator to coordinate, develop, and evaluate resiliency programs for service members and their families. The role includes organizing peer support networks and recruiting counselors to CPPNC standards, with a focus on data collection and program assessment.

You will engage with DoD resources, support multiple locations, and help tailor needs-based programming for diverse groups, while coordinating with command leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services, or related field.
• Four years’ experience providing social service education or work/family life consultation or coordination services.
• Minimum of two years’ experience coordinating social service education programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and evaluate programs that enhance resiliency of the unit and families.
• Organize and oversee peer support networks for assigned commands.
• Recruit active duty and family member peer support counselors and ensure vetting/training to CPPNC standards.
• Collect and report data for formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs.
• Develop needs-based programming for specific demographic groups and geographic locations.
• Identify and document program/service needs and evaluation data.
• Maintain awareness of and communicate DoD resources and resiliency services.
• Serve as liaison for community and family support matters.
