Job summary

Innovation Learning is hiring a Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at the Mt. Mansfield School District site in Vermont. This part-time role runs Monday–Friday, 2 PM–6 PM, and involves mentoring school-age children through enrichment, recreation, and academic support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Must be willing to obtain Vermont Afterschool Foundations or Essentials certificate within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Promote respect, responsibility, and resilience as a role model.
• Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe learning environment.
• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
