Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Residue Chemistry Assistant Scientist in Columbia, MO. The position involves performing routine to complex experiments under regulatory frameworks (DEA, EPA, FDA, FIFRA, OECD) and preparing data for publication upon project completion.

You will analyze organic and inorganic compounds, prepare standards, and review data for accuracy. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and the ability to work independently within a team while adhering to SOPs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent coursework.
• Ability to work with regulatory requirements (DEA, EPA, FDA, FIFRA, OECD) and SOPs.
• Willingness to perform routine and sometimes complex experiments with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine to somewhat complex experiments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine properties.
• Prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.
• Perform data analysis and peer review of data for accuracy and auditable quality.
• Handle regulated materials according to company procedures.
• Support GLP studies and planning of study conduct where applicable.
• Collaborate with team members and potentially act as study director when needed.
