Job summary

Synergy3 is hiring a Residential Weatherization Energy Auditor to perform comprehensive audits of homes and assess energy systems. The role involves diagnostic testing, evaluating insulation and building envelopes, and educating homeowners on efficiency improvements.

You will install minor measures, document findings, and create work orders while managing multiple projects. Training is provided; sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BPI Certification preferred; employer-provided training available and required within 3–6 months.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working in residential environments and communicating with homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive residential energy audits using standardized procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic testing (blower door, CAZ, static pressure, system efficiency).
• Evaluate insulation, air sealing, and building envelope performance.
• Identify energy efficiency upgrades and potential health or safety concerns.
• Educate homeowners on energy-saving measures and system performance.
• Install minor efficiency measures (e.g., LED bulbs, low-flow devices).
• Document audit findings accurately using company systems and software.
• Create detailed work orders for internal teams based on audit results.
• Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications.
• Manage multiple active audit projects and maintain workflow.
