Job description

Join us as a Residential Warehouse Junior Trader VP at Barclays Business Banking. In this role, you will be part of the Securitized Products team managing the residential loan portfolio business. Your responsibilities include assessing market value of portfolios, setting trade level haircuts and spreads, working with risk partners to monitor and set risk parameters, providing guidance on platform governance and development, and maintaining client relationships.

To succeed, you should have:

1. Experience acting as a trader, managing structuring, pricing, execution, client engagement, and post-trade activities.
2. Previous experience in residential loan portfolio management.
3. A BS degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This position is based in New York, NY, and is regulated by FINRA. The salary range is $155,000 to $250,000, excluding additional benefits.

The role's purpose is to execute trades, manage risk, and stay informed on market trends to make informed trading decisions. Key responsibilities include executing buy/sell orders, monitoring global markets, managing trading risk, and collaborating with research and other teams.
