Job summary

The Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment in Duluth, MN seeks a compassionate Clinical Assistant for our men's Residential Treatment Program. You will work with a clinical team to provide high-quality care, monitor resident progress, maintain records, and support daily operations in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Part-time role on 3rd shift (10:45pm–7:00am), every other weekend, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and growth within the program.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have or obtain CPR & First Aid certification before direct patient contact.
• Must pass background studies issued by the Minnesota DHS.

Responsibilities

• Complete paperwork related to admissions or discharging patients.
• Observe/monitor patients to detect behavior patterns; intervene to maintain safety.
• Perform vital signs on patients as instructed.
• Respond to crises and emergencies per policy; notify supervisor.
• Document shift events in logs; report observations to staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Administer or monitor medications as trained by RN supervisor.
• Perform light housekeeping and transportation duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
