Job summary

Hallmark Youthcare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary, and orderly environments in the Greater Richmond area. Under supervision, you will promote sanitary conditions and support overall facility upkeep for adolescents aged 11 to 17.

The role emphasizes timely completion of tasks, respect for residents, and adherence to HIPAA and facility policies. A background in institutional housekeeping and reliable transportation are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• Must have one (1) year housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Facility cleanliness and upkeep with high cleanliness standards.
• Completes all job assignments in a timely manner.
• Performs checkout cleaning of resident rooms including bathrooms, beds, floors and walls.
• Maintains control of housekeeping supplies and equipment and notes inventory needs.
• Distributes, stores, and collects linen daily per policy.
• Provides service to residents, visitors, staff and guests with dignity and respect.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' health information per HIPAA and Facility policy.
• Completes safety education programs and answers safety questions and codes.
