Job summary

Canopy Children's Solutions in Jackson, MS seeks a Residential Training Coordinator to oversee training operations for the residential milieu, design resources, and ensure compliance with Medicaid and agency policies.

You will lead in-house training, assist in hiring, coordinate with HR and Learning and Development, and mentor Residential Care Specialists to deliver trauma-informed care and family-centered service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field.
• At least two years of experience in a residential setting.
• Masters degree preferred in behavioral health or administrative track.
• Excellent reading/writing and communication in English.
• Ability to obtain/maintain driver’s license and agency insurance.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead in-house training for new and current staff; assist in interviews.
• Develop training resources and coordinate with HR and Learning & Development.
• Attend meetings and support program development across shifts.
• Design and revise training materials, including a video library.
• Provide leadership to ensure trauma-informed care and continuous staff development.
• Facilitate community and staff meetings as scheduled.
