Job summary

Volunteers of America Southeast, Inc in Waycross, GA is seeking a Residential Trainer/Care Facilitator to provide supervising and supporting for individuals in our program. The role is part-time with hours Monday–Friday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and 1–2 weekends per month, 2–4 hours.

You will assist with daily living skills, provide coaching and transportation, and document progress. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and a Georgia driver's license; training in First Aid, CPR

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Must pass all required training including First Aid, CPR and CPI.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to provide daily living support with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, instruction, encouragement, and reinforcement to individuals we support.
• Assist with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, medication administration, and transportation to appointments.
• Document progress notes and ISP goals accurately and timely.
• Maintain rapport with individuals, families, and natural supports.
