Overhead Door Company of Des Moines, a DH Pace Company, is hiring a Residential Technician who is mechanically inclined with construction and welding experience to support service and installation of residential doors and hardware. You will install, repair, and troubleshoot garage door systems, while identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.

• Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical and electrical experience required.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service orientation.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds safely.

Responsabilités

Overhead Door Company, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a Residential Technician who is mechanically inclined with experience in the construction business and welding and can help in the service and installation of residential doors and door hardware.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of residential garage doors and operating systems
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operating in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Standard work hours: Monday through Friday; between 7:00am and 6:00pm with occasional weekend rotation shift

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to safely lift 75 pounds over your head
• Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical and electrical experience required
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Enjoy the mental challenge of being able to trouble shoot to solve customer needs
• Customer Service oriented
