Job summary

Aspris is hiring a Residential Support Worker to provide safe, nurturing care for young people in our residential homes. The role focuses on social activities, skill development, and building trust with youths and staff.

The position emphasises ongoing learning with NVQ/SVQ enrollment within six months and opportunities to pursue degree-level qualifications, supported by continuous CPD and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Opportunity to be enrolled onto NVQ/SVQ qualifications within 6 months of starting a Residential Support role.
• Opportunity to qualify to degree level in future.

Responsibilities

• Take young people to see friends and participate in activities such as cinema and community events.
• Teach and encourage independence, including cooking and daily living skills.
• Build strong relationships with young people and staff to create a safe, nurturing environment.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be at the centre of the fun! Taking young people to see their friends, trips to the cinema, partaking in community events such as fundraisers and galas, teaching the young people to cook, encouraging them to be independent and many other brand new opportunities that they may never have had the chance to do previously. This role allows you to really make a difference to the lives of those under our care and to build strong relationships with the young people and staff alike.

Due to Location a Full UK driving licence is required
