Job summary

The Mental Health Center is hiring a Residential Specialist for the Merrimack Street location in Manchester, NH. This full-time role includes 24/7 support in a community-based adult residence, working with the treatment team to provide wrap-around care and transportation for residents.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work, a valid driver's license, and the ability to form therapeutic relationships. Internal training and credentialing opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile with bodily injury liability coverage of at least $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in developing skills for living independently.
• Assist patients with steps toward wellness and recovery goals.
• Support patients in residential and community settings.
• Provide safe medication support, education and self-administration.
• Participate in direct 1:1 and group activities.
• Help patients with room/apartment maintenance.
• Maintain appropriate and accurate documentation.
• Ensure effective and thorough communication with the treatment team.
