Qualifications

• The ability to attend initial and ongoing training, and monthly staff meetings.
• The ability to read and write English and the ability to comprehend written instructions and record information.
• The capacity to work alone or in a team with intermittent supervision.
• The ability to work respectfully and courteously with a wide variety of individuals.
• Solid reasoning skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must pass all required background checks and physicals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' rights and a homelike environment.
• Assist residents with goals per the individual plan of service, including social skills and community integration.
• Support daily living activities such as grooming, hygiene, and personal care.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Prepare food according to individual dietary needs.
• Perform housekeeping duties and document care in records.
