Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, or 21 with good communication skills.
• Submit to a criminal record check and a drug screen.
• Possess a valid social security card or work permit for non-US citizens.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with no moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic training to promote independence according to the Individual Plan of Care goals.
• Assist and observe the individual’s personal care needs.
• Support all the individual’s needs and safety awareness at home and environment.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as laundry, sanitation, household chores, and meal preparation.
• Encourage activities that promote independence and social engagement.
• Coordinate transportation to appointments or activities as needed.
