Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires 18+ with HS diploma or 21+ with good communication skills
• Submit to criminal record check and drug screen
• Possess valid SSN or work permit for non-US citizens
• Possess valid driver’s license with no moving violations

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic training to promote independence per Individual Plan of Care
• Assist/observe personal care needs
• Support individual’s needs and safety awareness
• Assist with laundry, sanitation, meals, and household chores
• Help individual perform routine household tasks and maintain home
• Encourage independence and offer fun activities
• Arrange transportation for appointments and activities as needed
• Advocate for rights and required services
• Document incidents correctly and report abuse or neglect
• Complete paperwork and billing notes
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication
• Complete all required training and follow DID policies
• Monitor health and encourage exercise and good health practices
• Communicate effectively with team and maintain respectful relationships
