Qualifications

• Preferred experience with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
• Previous caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
• Nursing assistant certification preferred with re-certification required for compensation.

Responsabilités

• Assist clinical staff in administering and documenting therapeutic activities.
• Safely transport and accompany individuals to/from community needs.
• Advocate for and ensure recipient rights are respected.
• Record data into individuals’ electronic medical records.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.

Connaissances

Experience working with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disability

Caregiving experience

Valid driver’s license

Certification as a nursing assistant
