Job summary

Cadient, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals for the Fordham Road residence in Valatie, NY. The role provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and in the community.

Hours include 35 per week with specific shifts. Starting salary is $18.56 to $20.42 per hour, with additional shift differentials where applicable. Training includes Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.
• NYS driver’s license and basic computer knowledge are required.
• Training will include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.
• Engage residents in activities and outings to promote independence and community participation.
