Community-Residences in Winsted, CT is seeking a Residential Instructor to support adults with developmental disabilities. The role is full-time; you will create a positive learning environment, implement care plans, monitor health and safety, and assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include documentation, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, administer medications after certification, manage transportation, and participate in training.

• Create a nurturing, positive learning environment and develop strategies for daily living.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure safety during activities.
• Record data on teaching strategies and progress; document plans and barriers.
• Administer medications after certification and report any errors.
• Coordinate medical appointments and follow doctors' orders.
• Participate in meals planning and budget adherence.
• Maintain appearance and safety of home and vehicle.
