Job summary

Easterseals NH in Nottingham, NH is seeking Residential Support Counselors to join a compassionate team in two nearby homes. You will help promote independence, support daily living activities, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for adults in care.

This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with evening and weekend shifts. Eligible employees receive a robust benefits package, paid time off from day one, and employer contributions to retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the Human Services field.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan.
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

Hours

Full time, 40 hours/week; Monday- Wednesday 3pm - 11pm and Sunday 7am - 11pm

Compensation

$24 hourly

Responsibilities

The Residential Support Counselor will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting. Staff in this location will have the opportunity to support adults in two adjacent homes.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
