Job summary

Opportunity Foundation seeks a Residential Supervisor to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals in a residential group home setting in Oregon. The role oversees daily operations, provides direct resident support, and ensures adherence to person-centered care practices.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Oregon driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proof of personal automobile insurance.
  • Ability to pass Oregon criminal background investigations.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to meet and maintain Oregon Core Competencies.
  • Ability to obtain Oregon Intervention System (OIS) certification and IF training as required.
  • Complete 12 hours of job-related in-service training annually.

Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary

The Residential Supervisor works under the direction of the Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential program serving adults and children with developmental disabilities. This position provides direct support to residents while supervising and coaching DSP staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Support
  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals.
  • Assist the Program Manager with staff scheduling and shift coverage.
  • Model professionalism, teamwork, and ethical work practices.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring staff.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
Resident Care & Support
  • Support residents in achieving their personal goals while encouraging independence.
  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
  • Administer medications and medical procedures as prescribed.
  • Transport residents safely to appointments, community activities, and other destinations.
  • Attend resident meetings and intake meetings as needed.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure resident records, documentation, case notes, incident reports, and Therap documentation are accurate and completed on time.
  • Assist with Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Functional Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules, state regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
Safety & Operations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
  • Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
  • Assist with supply ordering when needed.
  • Participate in required staff meetings and annual training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
