Misericordia Heart of Mercy is seeking a Residential Supervisor – Behavior Supports to lead behavioral services across assigned residential areas. You will guide staff, ensure adherence to behavior support plans, and collaborate with BCBAs, QIDPs, and nursing to promote a safe, person-centered environment.

You will train staff, maintain documentation, and respond to crises while helping residents maintain dignity, safety, and engagement. Bachelor’s degree required; credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in human services or related field.
• Behavior care credentials strongly preferred: RBT/BCaBA/BCBA or similar.
• Minimum two years' experience with individuals with IDD and behavioral needs.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of positive behavior supports, crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to stay calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, oversight, coaching, and coordination of behavioral support services within assigned residential areas.
• Serve as a primary resource for behavior support implementation and staff guidance.
• Oversee two future RP homes and ensure consistent behavior support plans.
• Train, coach, and support staff in behavioral programming and adherence.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide direction as needed.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, QIDPs, nursing, programming staff, BSS, and administration.
