Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring a Program Supervisor in Ohio. This role oversees ISP implementation, staff hiring and training, scheduling, and supervision of caregivers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

It includes direct care duties and coordination of community outings. Full-time position with a schedule including 2p-9p Tue-Fri and alternating weekend coverage; requires valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support to individuals, including assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Duties are split between providing direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities.

Hire wage is $22.50 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

This Positions requires flexible availability and includes weekend shifts as scheduled

primary schedule of 2p-9p Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with 9a-9p every other weekend

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent , proof of education is required
• One year related work experience with intellectuals with developmental disabilities
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
