Job summary

New Haven is a leading residential treatment center serving adolescent girls and their families through trauma-informed, relationship-based care. This role supports mentors during shifts, helps with onboarding, and ensures smooth, compliant operation at our Spanish Fork campus.

We seek a candidate 21+ with a high school diploma, a clean driving record, Utah background check clearance, and a willingness to commit for at least 8 months. A Food Handler’s Permit is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Meets core requirements: 21+, high school diploma, valid driver’s license with clean record, Utah background check.
• Committed for a minimum of 8 months and obtain Food Handler’s Permit before starting.
• Policy knowledge: company policies, hiring and disciplinary procedures, mentor responsibilities.
• Student-centered knowledge of student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols.
• Leads by example with teaching, motivation, and team-building skills.
• Collaborates effectively with therapists and nurses in interdisciplinary teams.
• Calm under pressure with strong communication and crisis-management abilities.

• Strategic Delegation: Assign responsibilities to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Talent Onboarding: Partner with HR to hire and onboard candidates for long-term success.
• Thorough Orientation: Guide new hires through a structured, on-shift orientation.
• Continuous Development: Facilitate weekly training and ongoing coaching.
• Performance Oversight: Monitor staff performance with quarterly reviews.
• Accountability & Discipline: Address performance issues using disciplinary protocols.
• Clear Communication: Share shift updates during handoffs for continuity.

Location:Spanish Fork, UT (on-site)Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 an hour

Schedule:Tues/Thurs/Sat | 2:00pm-11:00pm

Wed 9:00am-1:00pmEvery other Sunday as needed

Additional shifts available to support full-time scheduling

Responsibilities

• Clear Communication:Share key shift updates during handoffs to maintain continuity and transparency.
• Team Representation:Advocate for your shift during interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
• Safety Leadership:Conduct quarterly safety drills and model best practices to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Meets Core Requirements:Must be 21+, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and pass a Utah State background check.
• Committed and Prepared:Willing to commit for a minimum of 8 months and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting.
• Policy-Savvy:Well-versed in company policies, hiring and disciplinary procedures, and Mentor responsibilities.
• Student-Centered Knowledge:Understands student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols.
• Leadership-Driven:Leads by example with strong teaching, motivational, and team-building skills.
• Professional Collaboration:Works effectively with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nurses.
• Calm Under Pressure:Skilled in communication, prioritization, and safely managing crisis situations when needed
