Job summary

Qualifications

• Provide ongoing monthly trainings for department heads and senior clients.
• Monitor client operation of work therapy facility functions.
• Orient newly admitted clients to the program.
• Identify and assess addictive behavior patterns in milieu.
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to function under stress.
• Support hostile and resistant clients toward progress on treatment goals.
• Function independently with minimal supervision.
• Read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train client monitors; conduct performance reviews and staff meetings.
• Assist and support in processing client behavior.
• Assist in medication calls and box runs.
• Assist in managing safety and health functions within the facility.
• Assist in urinalysis testing.
• Progress note interaction with clients.
• Monitor client performance in the occupational therapy aspect of their treatment.
• Oversee training of maintenance, kitchen, senior, procurement, creative energy, orientation, and transitional housing departments.
• Schedule and supervise client monitors and relief staff to minimize overtime.
• Attend treatment team staffing and provide information on client behavior and progress.
• Participate in milieu education and training activities.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
