Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, hands-on care in a residential setting. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with daily living activities, and help them participate in community events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as needed.
• Supporting daily living skills and independence.
• Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
