Job summary

Ecohouse Solar, part of IGS Energy in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Solar Installation Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential solar systems while upholding safety standards and delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will install PV systems per design, read blueprints, and perform testing. Collaborate with electricians, project managers, and foremen, and document work and materials for each project. A 1–3 year install background is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of solar installation experience (residential or commercial).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install PV systems per design specifications and company standards.
• Work with electricians, project managers, and foremen to ensure project success.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure safe operation.
• Document work, materials, and system specs for each project.
