Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Construction Technician to join our team in Milpitas, CA. You will perform a variety of construction tasks, including structural upgrades and repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and a safe worksite.

This hands-on role requires physical work, problem-solving, and a proactive safety mindset. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of residential construction or solar experience, ability to work on rooftops, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of residential construction or solar experience.
• Ability to work on rooftops and in outdoor conditions.
• Must pass driving background check and have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install required structural upgrades for accounts
• Complete home repairs such as roof repairs, minor stucco and drywall, and structural upgrades
• Provide project review and material sourcing
• Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals, according to specification
• Maintain a high quality of workmanship
• Load and unload materials
• Perform job site cleanup and maintain vehicle with equipment for each project
• May assist with organizing equipment in the warehouse when support is needed
• Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company standards
• Other duties as assigned
