Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a Residential Behavioral Health Shift Supervisor for our Danville, PA facility. This in-person role oversees direct care staff on 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) with occasional 1st shift support, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescents in treatment.

You will lead staff, support daily routines, implement programs, and collaborate with clinical teams to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Associate degree with relevant experience accepted.
• High school diploma or GED with significant related experience.

Position Summary

The Residential Behavioral Health Shift Supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and oversight for direct care staff while ensuring the safety, structure, and therapeutic integrity of the residential environment. This role supports youth through direct engagement while assisting with shift operations, staff supervision, and program implementation.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with occasional support on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Weekends and holidays as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all clients
• Provide shift leadership, oversight, and guidance to Residential Behavioral Health Technicians and direct care staff
• Support daily routines and structured programming
• Build professional, supportive relationships with youth
• Utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
• Monitor behavior and communicate concerns to clinical staff
• Facilitate recreational, life skills, and community activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Ensure proper supervision ratios at all times
• Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and leadership teams
• Assist with transportation and off-site activities
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
• Associate degree or 60 college credits with relevant experience
• High school diploma/GED with significant related experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health or residential settings
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
• Strong documentation and observation skills
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or shift lead experience preferred

Work Location
