Sobieski New Homes of Georgetown, DE is hiring a full-time Residential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer. You will install HVAC duct systems in single-family homes and work with foremen to meet safety and quality standards. Opportunity to mentor apprentices and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Licensed journeyman (preferred) or 3+ years in new home construction.
• Knowledge of applicable state codes.
• Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Own hand tools regularly used by Sheet Metal Installers.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC duct systems and related components in residential new construction.
• Read and interpret plans for duct layout and installation.
• Work with foremen and construction teams to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Train sheet metal helpers and apprentices.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow company procedures.
