ProLift Garage Doors seeks experienced Repair Technician to perform installations, service, and repairs for the greater San Antonio, Texas area. If you have prior experience working as a repair technician or in a comparable position and seek a part-time/full-time position, please apply.

Responsibilities

• Repair various types of garage doors and openers
• Assess each case, selecting the best solutions considering safety, functionality, and performance
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on new and existing equipment

Requirements

• Experience servicing/installing garage doors, with knowledge of principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in residential garage door service
• Mechanical aptitude and skilled in using hand and power tools
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and the public
• Team player with strong collaboration skills
• Self-starter capable of working independently
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and insurability
• Basic math skills and legible handwriting

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of relevant experience

Physical Demands

Includes standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching, working in cramped garages, on ladders, with power tools, and in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
