Job summary

Element Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems in Twin Falls, ID. This full-time role involves warranty and emergency service, customer support, and ensuring work meets manufacturer standards.

You will perform maintenance, educate clients on performance and upgrades, document equipment specs, and coordinate with dispatch to keep schedules. Strong problem-solving, EPA cert, and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience required.
• Valid EPA certification.
• Valid drivers license with an insurable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to program thermostats and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working from ladders (up to 28') and operating power/hand tools safely.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, A/C units, ductless mini-splits, ductwork).
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Educate customers on system performance, proactive repairs, upgrades, and maintenance agreements.
• Document all installed equipment and service details (make, model, serial number, test measurements, photos).
• Work with dispatch to maintain schedule and communicate delays to customers.
• Calibrate systems per manufacturer specifications and replace defective parts as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Work under the direct supervision of management or lead technician to ensure all jobs are completed.

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Shift: Monday – Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $34.00 Hiring Bonus: up to $2,500

Position Summary :

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and fireplaces.
