Company : Sedona Staffing in Killeen Texas is hiring for a Plumber for a Killeen area business. Our services are free for prospective employees. Our positions can be temporary, temporary to permanent or permanent positions depending on a particular customer’s need.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay / Salary : $17.00-$18.00 per hour. DOE.

Hours of Work : 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Study blueprints and design specifications to ascertain the configuration of plumbing equipment components and to ensure proper installation.
2. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area.
3. Measure, cut, and assemble pipe sections, tubing, fittings, and fixtures, using pipefitter tools and sealants.
4. Cut or drill holes in floors, walls, or roof to install equipment, using power saws or drills.
5. Test pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
6. Install, connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
7. Connect heating or air conditioning equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form a complete circuit.
8. Assemble, position, and mount heating or cooling equipment, following blueprints or manufacturer's specifications.
9. Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
10. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. A minimum of one year of experience in Plumbing is required.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES :

1. Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, twist, kneel, push and pull, and stand for 10-12 hours.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours.
3. Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
4. Other physical requirements as needed for the job.
