Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled residential electrician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and upgrade home electrical systems in the Portland metro area (Portland/Troutdale, OR). You will work independently yet collaborate with the team, communicate clearly with homeowners, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Oregon Journeyman Electrician license preferred; Washington 01/02 considered based on experience.
• Residential electrical service experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills required.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills needed.
• Professional appearance and attitude when visiting homes.
• Ability to explain issues and solutions to homeowners clearly.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Comfort with mobile tech to document work and communicate with the office.

• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations.
• Communicate with office and team to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good condition.
• Continue developing electrical knowledge through training and hands-on experience.

You are a skilled residential electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and helping homeowners understand their electrical systems. You take pride in your work, communicate well with customers, and can work independently while being part of a team.

JOB DUTIES:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.

Complete electrical service calls and identify the cause of electrical issues.

Perform residential electrical repairs and upgrades, including panels, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.

Identify opportunities to improve the safety, reliability, and functionality of a home's electrical system.

Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to homeowners.

Provide professional customer service from arrival through completion of the job.

Complete work accurately and according to applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and leave the customer's home as clean or cleaner than when you arrived.

Accurately document work performed, materials used, and customer recommendations.

Communicate with the office and other team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.

Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition.

Continue developing electrical knowledge and skills through company training and hands-on experience.

Requirements & Skills Needed:

Oregon Journeyman Electrician (J) license preferred. Qualified Washington 01 or 02 electricians are encouraged to apply and may be considered based on experience and licensing requirements.

Residential electrical service experience preferred.

Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Professional appearance and attitude when working in customers' homes.

Ability to explain electrical issues and solutions in a way homeowners can understand.

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Comfortable using mobile technology to document work and communicate with the office.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Ability to pass a background check.
