Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Residential Building Patrol in Baltimore, MD. The role involves patrolling residential surroundings, monitoring entrances, and delivering excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors.

The position is full time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Candidates should be at least 21 and able to pass a background check and drug screen where permitted by law. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and entrances to identify hazards or concerns.
• Monitor access points and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and document observations as required.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts and leadership and complete shift reports.
