Surefox North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent to join our Bay Area team. The role involves leading residential security operations for our clients, managing schedules, and protecting clients, family members, and assets.

The successful candidate will work independently, respond to dynamic situations, and comply with Surefox policies as well as applicable laws. The position requires Bay Area residency, a valid US passport, BSIS Guard Card, and ability to pass

Qualifications

• Must reside in the Bay Area or within one hour of San Francisco.
• Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug screening.
• Must possess BSIS Guard Card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must be 18+ years old and eligible for employment in the United States.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Surefox is standing up a protective services program with a frontier technology client with multiple executive principles in the Bay Area. We are seeking an experienced full-time Residential Security Agent with high integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism to join our team. In this role, you will support assigned projects under the guidance of the Program Manager for top Silicon Valley clients. As a Residential Security Agent, you will serve as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing physical security for assigned clients at their residence. You will be responsible for supporting client and family safety, safeguarding client assets, and supporting all duties in accordance with client policies, Surefox policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations. This position requires a flexible, detail-oriented professional who can work independently, respond to dynamic situations, and collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, agencies, and client stakeholders. The selected candidate must be capable of supporting duties domestically and internationally, as required.

The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $132,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and prior leadership responsibilities.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support residential security operations for assigned clients.

• Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or by vehicle.
• Monitor access and permit authorized individuals onto the property.
• Watch for unusual or suspicious activity and respond safely to emergency situations.
• Respond to medical and non-medical incidents.
• Contact police, fire, or emergency medical services when appropriate.
• Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and key points of interest within the assigned area.
• Operate vehicles in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
• Operate in a low-profile, low-footprint capacity.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and team members.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with departments and support teams.
• Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports related to accidents, incidents, suspicious activity, and other security matters.
• Assist employees, visitors, and clients in a professional manner.
• Attend project meetings when requested to assess security implications.
• Address staffing needs, client requests, and assigned tasks in a timely manner.

What Is Required

• Must reside in the Bay Area or within one hour of San Francisco.
• Must be able to work a rotational schedule of 4 days on / 4 days off.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old, per state licensing guidelines.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.

• Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid U.S. passport.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification for all ages is required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be able to work autonomously, domestically and internationally.
• Must have strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions.
• Must demonstrate competence in responding to and managing emergencies.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.

• Must complete Surefox POCC training, or have the willingness and ability to attend and graduate.

Passing the POSPAT is a requirement for this position. The POSPAT is a timed sequence of multiple physical events requiring candidates to progress along a predetermined path from event to event in a continuous manner until complete.
